About Us
The Electrical Contractors Trust of Alameda County (ECTAC) is dedicated to strengthening and advancing the electrical construction industry throughout Alameda County. For decades, ECTAC has served as a driving force behind workforce development, industry innovation, and the promotion of high standards in electrical contracting.
At its core, ECTAC exists to support the long-term success of the industry. By investing in apprenticeship training, education, and outreach, the Trust helps develop the next generation of skilled electricians while ensuring contractors have access to a highly trained, safety-focused workforce.
Working in close partnership with industry organizations, contractors, and labor, ECTAC plays a vital role in maintaining a strong and sustainable pipeline of talent. The Trust supports programs that prepare individuals for rewarding careers in the electrical trade while also promoting the value of quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism across all projects.
ECTAC is also committed to advancing the industry through innovation and public awareness. From supporting new technologies and energy-efficient solutions to promoting best practices, the organization helps position Alameda County’s electrical contractors at the forefront of a rapidly evolving field.
Through its efforts, ECTAC not only supports the businesses and professionals within the industry—it contributes to the broader community by helping ensure safe, reliable, and forward-thinking electrical infrastructure for years to come.
